Melbourne United is excited to announce it will be launching the Melbourne United Coaches Academy (MUCA) as the organisation aims to help develop the next generation of great basketball minds.
The MUCA willbe an annual membership designed forcoaches to advance their skills and expand their knowledge of the game bylearning the latest trends in player and skill development from MelbourneUnited Head Coach Dean Vickerman and his coaching staff.
Designed forany coach, academy members of all levels will be able to come through theprogram while taking in a one-of-a-kind experience.
Providing expert insight to academy members, Vickerman will welcome in coaches for exclusive looks at United training sessions, access to online workshops and coaching seminars, as well as discounts on inner sanctum gameday experiences.
“This is a great opportunity for coaches of all levels to come into our environment and help further their own development as coaches,” Vickerman said. “Throughout my career, I’ve learnt the best way to get better as a coach is to listen and be a sponge, taking in all the knowledge at my disposal".
